Went there for a 40th birthday. Didn't know what to expect, but it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Shaun and Tim were amazing and put up with our nonsense fantastically. Would definitely recommend for something completely different, irrespective of age and ability!

Booked for my Son’s 12th Birthday for him and his friends. After a safety briefing, they all got to practice before getting their masks on and entering the arena. They were split into 2 teams and played various different games, all well supervised.
The bows were good quality and the arrows have big stoppers on the end and nobody was hurt in any way (apart from maybe a bit of pride!)
The game is a bit like paintball / dodgeball with bows and foam tipped arrows.
The boys all had a brilliant time and we are planning to book a further family session as we were quite jealous watching the boys having all the fun.
Thank you to our host / referee (sorry I didn’t get his name). He was brilliant with all the boys, keeping them all in line in a very nice, fair way and he also took lots of great action shots of them throughout their time at The Archertype.

The energy of the game felt just like being on a real game show, and it brought out everyone’s competitive spirit in the best way. Whether we were solving puzzles, answering trivia, every moment was pure fun.

We had an amazing time with Tim and Franklyn. The Gameshow was a really fun and enjoyable experience and a great ice breaker before we dived into the archery! I cannot praise this experience enough everyone was laughing and smiling throughout. Really would recommend this to anyone who is struggling to decide where to go for a family or friends outing. We came here for a birthday party and we all really enjoyed it. Really looking forward to returning.
